Outside Sales Representative

Ka-Comm, Inc., a leader in critical communications since 1960, has an opening for a Full-Time Electronics Technician in Salina. Ka-Comm designs, sells, installs, and maintains communication systems for public safety agencies around the State of Kansas. These systems range from conventional voting to trunk systems. In addition to the Salina location, Ka-Comm operates facilities in Manhattan, Emporia, Olathe, and Wichita KS.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and with a team of electronics technicians and equipment installers. Prior experience in public safety or with emergency vehicle equipment preferred. Job duties consist of the sale and installation coordination of public safety emergency equipment to include lights, sirens, consoles, video systems, radar systems and partitions. Primary role will be to actively promote and sell two-way radio equipment and systems in both the public and private industry settings. Criminal background check will be conducted.

Installation Technician

Ka-Comm, Inc., a leader in critical communications since 1960, has an opening for a Full-Time Electronics Technician in Wichita. Ka-Comm designs, sells, installs, and maintains communication systems for public safety agencies around the State of Kansas. These systems range from conventional voting to trunk systems. In addition to the Manhattan location, Ka-Comm operates facilities in Salina, Manhattan, Emporia, Olathe KS and Oklahoma City, OK.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and on a team. Automotive background with extensive knowledge of working with 12 volt electronics is required. Vocational/technical degree preferred but not required. Experience working with light metal and wood fabrication helpful. Successful candidate must provide own hand tools. Job duties consist of installation of electronic equipment to include but not limited to two-way radios, lights, sirens, audio and video systems in various types of vehicles.
